Today in Ms. Paris's class we did a SMART lesson and her students were readily able to go back to their writing and edit for pronouns right after! Great transfer! Taking kindergarteners through all the stages of the writing process is key! @LewisvilleES

Kinder info. writing unit was on fire today @ForestVistaES and @MillStreetES! Ts modeled labeling drawings, counting the words in a sentence, and using an alphabet sound linking chart to stretch sounds in words. Beautiful student transfer as Ts conferred with writers! #LISDLandT

Using data from a running record to inform your instruction is key! Ms. Boldt @LewisvilleES was able to quickly transfer the data into her guided reading lesson to prompt, teach, and reinforce the use of meaning and syntax cues with one of her readers. #firstgrade
