We identified an IgA-enriched phenotype associated with future liver-related events in MASLD. Integrating clinical clustering with spatial and single-cell analyses, our findings highlight IgA as a potential marker of immune-related disease progression and risk stratification.
Plasma proteins can predict metabolic liver disease (MASLD) up to 16 years ahead of its clinical appearance.

🧬 Review highlights how polygenic risk scores and key variants such as PNPLA3, TM6SF2, and HSD17B13 may improve risk stratification for fibrosis progression and cirrhosis in #MASLD and #ALD.

This one indicates that high fat mass and low lean mass are risk-enhancing phenotypes for type 2 diabetes, whereas leg-dominant lean distribution and central leanness can confer strong protection against the disease.
🟣 #GLP1 receptor agonists are linked to a modest rise in biliary events in #Diabetes
🔸More gallstones/cholecystitis/cholecystectomy at 3 years
🔸No significant increase in pancreatitis or ERCP
🔸Absolute event rates remained low
