In light of recent events, we want to remind everyone about Warren County Parks and Recreation's Flag System. It has been implemented to inform those who wish to use the waterways of the accessibility to them. For more information, visit WCPR's website.

Deputy Director Travis Puckett talked to WNKY today about #WaterSafety. With Memorial Day Weekend coming up, we wish to remind you to always wear your PFD and let someone know your expected float path and take-out time/location! Know the weather before you go and stay safe!

Attention Barren River Lake Boaters: Due to recent high water levels, the Corps have multiple missing buoys. If anyone happens to spot any buoys beached on the shoreline or in other odd locations , please call their office at 270-646-2055 to pass along the location. Thank you!

Warm weather means boating and fishing! Be sure you know when wild weather is going to impact your day -- it could save your life! #WaterSafety

Our office hosted and welcomed some of the new members from the @WCTechRescue at our Emergency Services building last night for a basic ropes class.

With the weather getting warmer you’re going to want to get out on the water! Go and enjoy it but be sure to be safe! The #1 rule is to always wear your life jacket when you’re near or on the water. #WaterSafety
