Cognitive psychology wants to be a science. Yet, I just heard one say my thoughts *can affect* my brain and body. But what’s thinking but something a brain and body do? Apparently, at least some 21st century cognitivists still believe a non-physical mind controls a physical body.
I would like to make a distinction.
This isn’t as much celebrating a death as mourning a life.
Some use their lives to ensure that many who might have lived would die.
Such lives become something worth mourning, and their ends are a relief the victims will celebrate. So be it.
