Thank you Sen. @lisamurkowski for standing up for equality and for the Equal Rights Amendment. 100 years is too long to wait for constitutional sex equality.
Today, our colleagues in the Senate must choose to stand with a century of advocates and vote YES for constitutional gender equality.
The time to remove the time limit for the Equal Rights Amendment is NOW. #Senate4ERA
The US Women’s Caucus condemns Russia's unprovoked attack on the sovereign state of Ukraine and stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

@uswomenscaucus We are grateful to the US Womens Caucus at the UN fit their support and to Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield for her eloquence on the importance of the vote for the draft resolution condemning the aggression on Ukraine.
Decades of military occupation, most recently that led by the US, have fueled fundamentalist forces in Afghanistan, and have cost the women of Afghanistan their lives, livelihoods and well-being.👇

Today we celebrate the late Josephine St. Pierre Ruffin’s birthday!
Born and raised in Boston, Josephine was a suffragist and civil rights activist, and editor of The Women’s Era, the first newspaper published by and for African-American women.
We don’t have a labor shortage. We have a shortage of good wages, and it’s disproportionately affecting women—especially women of color—who make up two-thirds of low-wage workers.
Raise the wage now.
The National Women’s Political Caucus stands strongly opposed to the blatantly racist and misogynist murders that took place on 3/16 in Atlanta.

Members of the @womensfunding, including The Women's Fund, issued a statement of solidarity that condemns violence and systemic racism and misogyny against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI).

Alvin Sykes was a civil rights icon not only locally but nationally.
He passed away today at just 64-years old.
Sykes worked to reopen cold cases from the civil rights era. He also helped get the Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Act of 2007 passed.
Michelle and I got vaccinated against COVID-19 because we know it’s the best way to beat this pandemic, protect one another, and get the country back up and running again. So I hope you’ll get the vaccine as soon as it’s available to you. It could save your life.
Today marks 12 years since the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act was signed into law. It was a critical step on the path to equal pay.
There is still so much work to be done to close the wage gap, especially for women of color.

The Equal Rights Amendment has now met the standard in Article V that an amendment is “valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states.”
@ZontaIntl
We dissent.
To this sham process, to this nominee, to this vote.
Thank you to the more than 6,000 of you who followed in Justice Ginsburg's legacy and joined us in dissenting, featured in today's Washington Post. #WeDissent
There are no words. John Lewis changed all our lives. He taught us all the importance of getting into good trouble. The world lost a true hero tonight.
