"Anticipating a busy season and citing issues from the past, local and state partners this summer will hire several ambassadors to monitor parking and other challenges along the Clark Fork River corridor through Missoula." A start to managing our increased river recreation!
Three Rivers Collaborative says the "Ambassadors will work at popular river access sites to provide assistance to the public on shuttles, parking, take-outs, and floats, and share information that will increase visitor awareness of best practices when spending time on the river."

Large woody debris (large logs, log jams and root wads) can help decrease water temperature by providing shaded areas along streams. This creates pockets of cooler water and places for fish to hide and seek refuge from predators.
