What is a #AUV? It is an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle that is programmed to do various tasks. For one of our tasks, our #AUV needs to detect and go under a gate. Here is footage of #Nessie doing said task!

Our programming team held their first microcontroller workshop this Sunday. Using LEDs, breadboards, and Arduinos, they learned how to program a mini traffic light. Good job ladies! #AUV#robosub#womeninengineering#tamu#tamuengineering#auvsi
This past weekend our #mechanicalteam held their 1st workshop introducing our new members to a #Mill. Our ladies learned the basics of mill operation, the names of the components and tooling used, range and gear selection, spindle speed adjustments and saddle and table clamping.
