@CathalRugby@KelRo736 Ireland had to get past Czechia to qualify - which they also failed to do. You seem to have detailed knowledge on Nigeria's performance in the qualification group, which suggests a lot of concentration on CAF to be fair.
@BenBradford5@Andile13@threeredkings I'm not sure 5 wins out of the last 10 games is that consistent. Including a 42-19 defeat last year. Great side with a great chance of going all the way but way too early for final talk.
@aerugbypodcast@Slipcatch Schalk Burger also made the point that with players based all over the world, the Boks only have short periods together for the Rugby Championship or end of year tours, whereas with the world cup, they have a lot more time together.
@aerugbypodcast@Slipcatch I would say that some sacrifices were made over the four year cycle to build depth and versatility within the full squad. Cant find a stat with average team changes made between games over the four years, but would be interesting to see.
@SaffaZimbo4@Oom_Rugby@WorldRugby@rugby_ap Agree to an extent.
Increasingly competitive international scene - Great for the game
Enhanced TV viewing experience - Great for the game
Officiating not keeping up - terrible for the game. Leads to toxic post game bitterness, which shouldn’t be part of the game
I don’t get the Bok fan victim narrative. Most countries fans have shown their displeasure with officiating this year. Is the issue the fans or openness of the laws to interpretation? @WorldRugby@rugby_ap@Oom_Rugby#FRAvRSA
Great idea 👏 - Small F&B businesses in the UAE are being given the chance to sell their products in Spinneys for a year with no start-up fees, generous payment terms, coaching from senior management, as well as marketing support, PR and in-store sampling. https://t.co/xF3j0nMKcd
