We can learn a lot from. When faced with challenges self-sabotage and negative self-talk can be our biggest hinderance. Whatever we face in life there’s support available we just need to find what works for us!
Andy Lewis may be missing a limb but as he explains in his video (link in bio), at times it is in fact his ADHD and dyslexia that he feels is more debilitating. At school he was made to feel ‘thick’ but with the right support he can now manage his conditions. Now that’s brave!

Bravery comes in all shapes and sizes. For some bravery could mean facing something we feel threatened by, but for others it could be something as simple as getting out of bed in the morning.
It’s ok to be scared sometimes - bravery is learning!

In our busy lives we can take life very seriously leading to high levels of anxiety.
Most who live with mild/moderate anxiety or depression will testify - nothing improves mood quite like a good giggle!
So why not throw yourself a curve ball and get giggling!

Growing up can be a rollercoaster of emotion. It’s important to know that no-one will expect you to have it all figured out! Journalling & grounding can help you tune in & extra curricular activities help develop confidence, giving opportunity to communicate emotions to others.
Social Wellness is building and maintaining positive relationships that add value to our and other people’s lives, creating a sense of belonging.
Emotional Wellness is being able to acknowledge and channel our feelings. For instance, expressing love and other emotions.
Social Wellness requires you to surround yourself with positive influences and distance yourself from negative ones. This can be a VERY steep learning curve. Talk to an adult you trust to help you discern this a develop maturity and confidence!
Getting involved with extra curricular clubs, volunteering, fundraising, taking on new challenges are ways to get these opportunities.
Our recent student survey showed that extra curricular activities benefited mental health and well-being!
How will you challenge yourself today?
Intellectual wellness is our ability to be open to new ideas & experiences, & get involved in activities to showcase our skills & talents without sacrificing our work-life balance.
Challenge - step outside your comfort zone. This is where the magic happens!
