It has been great to see everyone back after half term. We have had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day! There was lots of amazing costumes. Remember you can use your book token on a new book.

Yesterday we celebrated #readaloudday. Each class was paired up with another class across the school to share their favourite stories. We really enjoyed listening to the children from Year 5. 📚📖

Tuesday 1st February is the start of the Chinese New Year. It is the year of the tiger. We have linked the story to our school value of honesty. We think that the rat should have been honest about pushing the cat into the lake.

Year 2 are completing self portraits, so far we have drawn our faces and mixed primary colours to create our skin tone. They are looking amazing. Keep up the hard work.

Year 2 have had an excellent week focusing on anti-bullying and road safety.

We made some informative road safety posters to help keep everyone safe. We also discussed the importance of being kind and looking after everyone.
