@TechnoTimLive I generally don't use static IPs and just set reservations in the router. It makes it so much easier to handle if you ever need to re-IP your network for some reason. I keep track of every reservation in a spreadsheet.
@EverySmartHome, thanks for introducing me to these mmwave sensors. Two prototypes done and working with home assistant. They work so much better than the battery powered z-wave sensors I used to use.
@EverySmartHome@home_assistant I've been using this for a bit too. Found a new use for macro keys on my keyboard with it. One touch light controls in my office and notifications to my PC make this an essential piece to my automation.
@EverySmartHome Actually, I'm in the process now of moving from Homeseer to Home Assistant. I forgot how much I disliked the process of adding all my light switches to a zwave controller. I've also been working on a mains powered mmwave sensor based on someone's video π.
@linusgsebastian Have you checked out Homeseer's switches? I'm not sure how well they work with HA, but they have worked great for me throughout my house.
@nectarsleep, I hope you know how @FedEx is delivering your mattresses. This is how mine was delivered today. The driver pushed it out the back of the van and drove off.
@FedExHelp, I moved into a new home recently, and it seems like only Fedex has a problem finding my address correctly. We've had 3 packages in the last two weeks get marked as delivered, but nothing has shown up at our house. The address is clear from the road. Any ideas?
@squix78@EspressifSystem The Hookup did something like this a while back. Getting it all setup with MQTT makes controlling it easy.
