What’s going on with Goblintown?

The team launched GobStrategy, using their 1% allocation from GOBSTR to buy and burn Goblintown NFTs listed for 1.2x along with the 500,000 $GOB tokens tied to each one.

The result? The collection dropped from 10,000 to around 9,600, meaning roughly 400 goblins have already been burned (?).

This move makes 3 assets deflationary at once:
→ Goblintown NFTs
→ $GOB token
→ $GOBSTR strategy token

Only the team can burn for now, but they’ve said it’ll pass 10% burned by next week.

@goblintown just became one of the first NFT ecosystems to go fully deflationary.
