Laing O'Rourke construction firm is not allowing a Union presence on Bramley Moore dock, Everton FC's new ground site.
This is one of the largest building sites in Liverpool and should not be operating without a Unionised workforce.
Wigan Council have revoked the permit for the Wigan Diggers festival so as a consequence we will of course not be there today. We hope that the festival can be rearranged for some point in the near future.
@WorkersPartyGB@WPB_Manchester In Radcliffe supporting the workers of Polyflor. Locked out for asking fir a pay rise. There's no limit to how low some management will stoop.
Important message from @GMB_union Regional Secretary @PaulMaccaGMB on yesterday’s events at Polyflor and the lay-off of nearly 200 workers
Join us at a rally tomorrow to show support with @gmbnwi 🪧✊🎥👇

@WorkersPartyGB Proud to stand in support of workers at Poly Flor in Radcliffe, Manchester against their despicable treatment by management. https://t.co/jL5jYAhXpy We stand with working people in their fight for employment fairness. @WPB_Manchester@WPB_TU_Group
Merseyside was built around the #docks. #Liverpool is a shipping city.
The #dockers are our family. Everyone in this city has a connection to the docks and we will stand with the dockers in their fight for their fair share as we stand with all workers.

Inflation hit a record high two months ago at 10% and RPI now currently sits at 12.3%, forecasted to hit 18% by the start of next year.
The October energy bill price hike alone will put RPI over 13%
Workers need a real living wage.
It's grotesquely hypocritical of labour MPs to start criticising the practices of the privatised water companies now. They had 13 years in office and did nothing about any of this and their current leader still refused to even contemplate nationalisation.
Solidarity with @RMTunion@TSSAunion@ASLEFunion in their fight to defend their terms and conditions. We need to kick the profiteers out of our transport system and nationalise now.
Wow - incredible.
With just 5 working days notice to mobilise 115,000 members across 1,500 workplaces for the second national ballot in a month we have absolutely smashed it again.

Rail passengers are about to get hit with a 3.8% fare increase when wages have already fallen by 3% this year for British workers. At the same time the train operating companies have been cutting services and attacking staff terms & conditions. We are getting robbed.
We have water companies who refuse to build reservoirs, energy companies who won't invest in energy production and train companies who won't hire enough drivers or run enough trains. Privatisation was a giant scam, labour won't end it only @WorkersPartyGB will.
