As someone who has deeply studied Pakistan’s ports and overall trade infrastructure, the issue has never been that ships are unwilling to come to Pakistan. The problem is our own operational limitations. Capacity constraints, outdated systems, and inconsistent regulatory processes.

I will always maintain that the key to boosting Pakistan’s economy is focusing on trade. All else is secondary.
