Another ten-year old Child raped in Churachandpur , this time by a #KukiMilitant from the Underground Organisation (UKNA) , who is from
Chandel but living in the Town as a hideout.

The local people of Churachandpur are worried as there has been influx of several thousands of #KukiRefugees into Churachandpur leading to huge rise in heinous crimes, drugs, and vices.

These #KukiRefugees according to the Paite , Gangte, Hmar, Vaiphei etc etc bring in their Kuki Ideology, their Narcotics, their Militants and their Culture which are at odds to the people of Churachandpur .

Older Generations, Parents and Grandparents often talk of how Churachandpur was a peaceful town before the Naga-Kuki ethnic clash of 1993, and the resultant change in the Environment after thousands of Kuki Refugees poured in.
