New in https://t.co/wGHntagmWc: a more-fully-featured page to create and edit activations, and support for those special 2-grid and 4-grid activations.
Added https://t.co/wGHntafP6E support to specify uplink OR downlink for alert frequencies. And a couple more sats thanks to @2m0sql. Will probably tackle multi-grid alerts next.
Updated the https://t.co/wGHntafP6E page layouts to be MUCH more usable on mobile. There’s room for improvement, but at least it’s not totally busted any more.
Also added match scoring percentages to https://t.co/wGHntafP6E alerts to help weed through them. It’s based on your preferences for sat minimum elevation, and mode. See account settings for sliders to tweak it.
Added az/el calculations when the sat is at its shortest total path between two locations, to give you an idea of potential best-case operating conditions.
@2m0sql @KJ4M_R @SeanKutzko @KE0PBR@FG8OJ@scottN1AIA@WW2DX@GridMasterHeat Ah, a literal edge-case. :P I would say pick the closest 6-digit grid for calculation purposes, but post all the grids in the comment.
@2m0sql @SeanKutzko @KJ4M_R@KE0PBR@FG8OJ@scottN1AIA@WW2DX@GridMasterHeat Just to clarify… when posting an alert, the user should specify a single frequency and whether it's uplink (TX) or downlink (RX), is that right? Does it make sense to specify both (probably not)?
@2m0sql @KJ4M_R @SeanKutzko @KE0PBR@FG8OJ@scottN1AIA@WW2DX@GridMasterHeat It's using the 6-char grid for calculations, even it only displays the 4-char grid sometimes. So it should be accurate enough. Can you elaborate on VUCC? I'm not following.
