World War One - Frontline News is a book that uses articles and interviews from long forgotten American newspapers to tell the story of World War One. 1914/18
@TradBritGroup So he thinks its terrorism to hold democratically elected local politicians to account & raise awareness of what they support in their areas. Surely if everyone wanted these hotels being used as migrant hostels, these politicians would be proud their names were being promoted? 🤔
@lewis_goodall Perhaps nothing has happened but they read of the Afghan being convicted of murdering a British citizen last week. (Was on the run from a double murder in Serbia, lied that he was 14 and was 19, and terrorised children at a British school), so don't want hotels housing other men.
@RealCounties @Griffiths1961 Look at any letter or postcard from Newcastle dating from the 1800s or 1900s and it always says - Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland. Also, if it was a county it is only within the city walls, ie. city centre.
@Zero_4 Yeah they are wrong, very few countries on earth would be so stupid as to put tens of thousands of men into to 3 to 5 star hotels, like the Tories have. As of Nov 22 - 419 Holiday in type hotels being used.
@GMB If Britain was such a terrible colonial ruler, why did Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis move here AFTER they got independence in 1947?? 99% of Asian families in this country have lived here less than 70 yrs. https://t.co/JXpLd9en15
@BrezDogg @TradBritGroup no you can find out someones age by their wrist bones. The Society of Radiographers (trade union) the week before the 19 year old Afghan murderer was convicted (who lied about being 14 and went to a British school) said they would refuse to do them.
@thisislaurat@Dazed the Dazed article - 'This incident came after weeks of far-right groups stirring up tensions in the area, exacerbated when video footage emerged of a 25-year-old man asking a 15-year-old schoolgirl for her details'
