Some good news via email today, a male who assaulted 3 of our team pleaded guilty at court today. He received a community order for 12 months, a £150 fine and £50 compensation to each officer. #ProtectTheProtectors #goodresults

@WYP_DigitalPol @WestYorksPolice Early trials have provided independent corroboration for dangerous driving, failing to stop and drink driving. These offences put the public at risk and we will use footage to support prosecutions.

Specialist vehicles like traffic cars at @WestYorksPolice have had camera systems for some time. Today we launch camera systems for our Response and NPT vehicles. Providing evidence, accountability and transparent corroboration. Particularly when used in conjunction with our BWV.
