Gigabit @CenturyLink internet dead this morning. No change restarting modem, router. Reboot through CenturyLink website seemed to fix (#correlation) but instead of individual devices bottlenecked at ~100 mbps as in the past, now getting 700+ up/down. #Wow! Firmware update?

@ericacbarnett Tip more as in more places, or higher percent, or just more dollars? I go out to eat infrequently, but tip the same percentage as I always have, which is more $.

@ericacbarnett There used to be an implicit distinction between tips tied to table service and anonymous tip jars for people hand stuff to customers. Not completely sure how I feel about that change, but agree with @KevoTron that screens reinforce the model. Real wages would def be better.

@wsferries Nobody in the public would know what that is. Save yourself some grief -- when you talk about the incident say something like the vessel struck "a part of terminal infrastructure called a dolphin" or just omit the word "dolphin". Sorry to see the mishap! Glad no one was hurt.
