@typewriteralley And the fact the mapmaker is Chicago based maybe they had a mix of accurate and dated information. Maybe the railroad and park info was easy to come by but much of the street names and tideflat info cribbed from an old map?
@typewriteralley Also possible that the mapmaker either refused to acknowledge the street renaming because locals were still using the old names or just hadn't gotten up to speed yet or bother to update their model.
