@MissSDoherty I put one in. It’s super useful and not difficult to clean at all and looks good. Also, with a suspended floor, put an access hatch beneath it in case I ever needed to get to the pluming below the floors. Cost of a new coir mat this size is about £30 so can replace whenever.
I really like @DavidDidau ‘s assessment idea where students define words, which are key to schemes. I think this could be included in all subjects KS3-KS5. Assessing English at KS3 – David Didau https://t.co/GsY2VMI5ov
New research by me and @SnellJulia now published in @Language_In_Soc: ‘The (white) ears of Ofsted: a raciolinguistic perspective on the listening practices of the schools inspectorate’. It’s available open access and here’s a thread summarising the work. https://t.co/6d0yl1Ec8A
We're extremely proud to have been awarded a rating of ‘Good’ in our recent Ofsted inspection! 👏🎉
We'd like to say a massive thank you to our hardworking staff and students, as well as to our wider Da Vinci Academy community and @LEADAcadTrust for the ongoing support.
Poetry & languages=a match made in heaven! To launch the @LEADAcadTrust & @NST_forschools#poetlingo event the wonderful @HenryNormalpoet recorded this video of him reading a poem in French he wrote as a boy at school in Nottingham-it's magnifique! Do join in & #showusyourpoems
