@ScotRail From this, I assume the 0547 & 0616 Bathgate to Edinburgh journeys are cancelled. If you don't have drivers for these in service journeys - how are the out of service journeys from Bathgate at 0531 and 0608 getting to Edinburgh - magic?
Something a bit different, but much enjoyed was a run on this fine machine as part of the @BplHeritageTram Winter Gold weekend. Just the 13 years between these photos when I had my last run on 364!
First chance to sample @LumoTravel this week, and I'm very impressed. Good value, comfortable seats and an excellent journey. My praise to the staff on Tuesdays 0911 from Edinburgh and yesterday's 1436 from London - all providing excellent service.
@brownncream@theturbochimp@ScotRail@LNER Exactly. If it did make a difference, pubs would still be closed. All stuff like this does is put people off public transport.
If I travel by @ScotRail from Dundee to Edinburgh, I'm not allowed to drink alcohol on board. But the same journey today on @LNER and I was delighted to receive a glass of wine as part of my complimentary goodies. Confusing to the majority of people who don't know the difference.
@JamesWRKent @TPExpressTrains That is basically what I'd like clarification on. But despite asking the question several times, I'm yet to get a proper answer from @TPExpressTrains .
Can @TPExpressTrains confirm if aisle seats are now in use following the change in restrictions. Travelling in a party of 6 later this week, with 3 full tables reserved. Will we be able to sit together and is there a possibility aisle seats will be taken by other passengers?
@TPEassist I understand. So to clarify, what is the current situation with the use of aisle seats on your trains in Scotland, if a group travelling together can safely obey Covid rules - I'm aware different train companies are adopting different policies.
@TPEassist And it will be pure luck whether we will be travelling with others sitting next to us on the English portion of the return journey, based on whether people have occupied the aisle seats next to our reserved window before we board?
@TPEassist I understand. So are we allowed to use the aisle seats on the Scottish portion of our trip (in a manner obeying Scottish COVID regulations) so that when the train crosses into England we are sitting together rather than with strangers?
