“It was my integrity that was important. It sells for so little, but it's all we have left...It is the very last inch of us; but within that inch we are free.”
@ZackPolanski They won’t be left in the ground. If we stop using them and financially cripple ourselves choosing green alternatives, other countries will use them instead. Net result: UK is financially worse off, but leaders get to do some green virtue signalling, which is all some care about
@SophieP25397 It baffles me that Labour etc keep encouraging everyone to vote for Farage, by repeatedly acting against the people’s wishes and best interests. Farage offers some of the things traditional Labour voters want - less DEI identity nonsense, uncontrolled immigration etc
@gillyb53@ShockedDisgust@LeeHurstComic There is no reason British people couldn’t do those jobs. We have to import labour now because of past neglect, but it should be temp work visas and any govt not addressing those skills shortages for the future just wants an excuse for continuing mass immigration.
@SaraJacobsCA Your trolling needs to be less obvious for it to work effectively. Everyone knows this ban *is* to prevent ALL women and girls (ie… women and girls) from harassment from “trans girls” (ie men and boys) who can never participate equally in girls’ sport - male physical advantage
@anon_opin Why should your offspring continue to enjoy the products of that afternoon’s work, 90 years later, if they don’t pay anything towards it? It only raises revenue if people enjoy it and want it.
@linmeitalks It is easy to motivate people to do jobs they don’t want to do. We don’t *need* deliveroo drivers etc. we need to reform the system we have so that people are paid a fair days pay for a fair days work, not damage our culture and communities to improve corporate profits
@russelmcr@darrengrimes And what would be an appropriate sentence for a disingenuously misinterpreted harmless tweet? Whether you prefer light or heavy sentencing, you should at least be consistent, with clear distinction between a harmless tweet and physical assault. These sentences are two-tier…
@PJPWv2@annaturley Even if the children are in state schools, that isn’t equal enough, and high achievers are dragged down to the mediocre levels of the others.
@annaturley If you want all to have equal education, improve the state system until private education becomes irrelevant. By simply objecting to private education you are signalling your belief that state can never be as good, forcing mediocre equality by dragging down rather than lifting up
@lancelachlan 99% of uk population growth since 2020 has come from immigration rather than births. To celebrate that the rate has now reduced means little without acknowledging and reducing the effect that the last 25 years have had, and continue to have, on Britain and her people
@RmSalih blame those who actually turned the UK against Muslims, ie 7/7 Bombings
Rape gangs
Murder of Lee Rigby
Westminster Bridge Attack
Manchester Arena Bombing
London Bridge and Borough Market Attack
London Bridge Stabbing
Southport Dance Class Attack
Etc
and all their apologists
@MrBrendanCox You’re right, blame those who turned the UK against Muslims, ie 7/7 Bombings
Rape gangs
Murder of Lee Rigby
Westminster Bridge Attack
Manchester Arena Bombing
London Bridge and Borough Market Attack
London Bridge Stabbing
Southport Dance Class Attack
Etc
and all their apologists
