A durrie stall at Shilparamam, displayed some familiar #durries (to us). Smt K Lakshmi Sharada, seen here is wife of durrie weaver Sri Lakshminarayana, whose works we featured in @WarangalBook. We gifted her a copy & her brimming smile made us very happy. Wishing them the best!

And another hillock that tourists miss out if pressed for time - Ekashilagutta. A lovely ancient temple and beautiful views all around. Certainly worth the climb.

Easily one among our most favourite spots in #Warangal. An #enormous #hillock, two rocks that stand like #sentinels, greeting you every time you enter/leave. Atop, we soaked in #sunsets & trains chugging past. But what we remember most - being surrounded by so much open space.

We had seen many folk plays staged at different venues across the city(Hyderabad). But to experience it in the rural setting without any urban elements was indeed an eye-opener.
