This project has been moving through the tenures of different Chief Ministers, starting with Kalaignar, Jayalalitha Madam, Thiru. Panneerselvam, Thiru. Palanisamy, Thiru. Stalin, and now Hon'ble Chief Minister Thiru. Vijay.

Hope that under this TVK government, work on the 3rd Phase Bypass will finally begin!!!

Cauvery drinking water required for Karnataka

As per Supreme Court Karnataka total Cauvery water entitlement is 285 TMC

District. Drinking water need
1. Bengaluru. 24 TMC
2. Mysuru. 9 TMC
3. Mandya. 3.3 TMC
4. Bengaluru South. 2.05 TMC
5. Chamarajanagra. 1.85 TMC
6. Hassan. 1.6 TMC
7. Tumakuru. 1.4 TMC
8. Bengaluru rural. 0.9 TMC
9. Kodagu. 0.45 TMC
10. Chikamangaluru. 0.3 TMC

Total drinking water required from Cauvery water for whole Karnataka is
44.85 TMC

As per Supreme Court total water allocated to Karnataka is 285 TMC.

So if anyone from Karnataka says we are stopping due to drinking water it is actually not the reason.

1. Approve the doubling of the Thanjavur–Villupuram railway line, with special priority given to expediting the Thanjavur–Mayiladuthurai section.

2. Introduce a new train service between Thanjavur and Haridwar/Rishikesh via Kumbakonam and New Delhi. This will greatly support pilgrims by honoring the deep spiritual connectivity between the Kumbh Mela and the Mahamagam Festival
