@KeithWoodsYT Watching a guy fight his way through war, monsters, witches, death, ghosts, and then slaughtering dudes that have tried to fuck his wife for a decade bitching and complaining that they didn’t make everything look like fckn Ibiza 😂😂😂
12% - Average possession between Anthony Gordon's opener and Lautaro Martínez's winner (55th to 92nd minute):
12% - 🏴 England
88% - 🇦🇷 Argentina
Trapped.
@FFChipSeeker_3 Every sport is decided on by officiating in one form or another, it’s an unavoidable reality. I’ve seen Super Bowl results completely altered by blown calls.
Soccer players play up their injuries like every other athlete but I think people underestimate the physicality tbh.
@JakeAndBall You’re going to be offside more often than other sides if one of your primary offensive strategies is leading through passes to forward players feet. Just the nature of the strategy, if we were a cross heavy side or a long ball side it wouldn’t happen as much.
@EricBalchunas And every win correlates to the opposite. Unfortunately American sports just can’t compete with the stakes/meaning/emotion/etc. of traditionally organized soccer.
@EricBalchunas There are virtually no stakes in American sports, a loss is effectively meaningless in the long term future of any franchise. A loss in league soccer outside of the franchise system in the U.S. could mean 100m-250m+ loss in revenue for a club.
@KirkHerbstreit A season ticket in Premier League is like $1000, and that’s like 19 games.
Do some research on history of clubs in Premier League and pick off what speaks to you, or watch a season without supporting and decide from watching.
@KirkHerbstreit Season is August to May.
If you have YouTube TV and Peacock you can watch virtually every match.
The crowds are like this for club matches. European soccer is more affordable for working class ppl than American sports. A majority of the audience are season ticket holders.
@hecubian_devil It’s the first showing of Hamlet in the history of humanity at the Globe directed by/starring William Shakespeare, perhaps one of the most monumental moments in the history of performance art.
@PYeerk I don’t see that at all personally, every element you’ve listed here from them reads to me as more benign, aimless and impotent than anything, not necessarily as an indictment of them do I mean this either. They don’t seem to me as orchestrated or purposeful as you’re proposing.
@PYeerk I’ve personally never seen their own assertion of any such authenticity or authority, most of that seems to come from outside in. Again, I think they’d be doing their thing regardless, I don’t think that renders them ‘authentic’
