Premier @susanholt told CBC this morning she supports a Citizens' Assembly on Electoral Reform.
Let’s make proportional representation happen!
Totally agree. Trudeau missed a golden opportunity. He could redeem himself by going ahead with a citizens' assembly on electoral reform NOW. Once it's started it will continue until its work is complete, regardless of the election result.
PM @JustinTrudeau regrets breaking his electoral reform promise but blocked a Citizen’s Assembly motion supported by 76% of Canadians & 39 of his own MPs.
Talk is cheap—action is what matters.
Thank you, @morricemike, for pressing him to act!
Thank you @torontolife for this honour.
It's a privilege every single day to do this work on behalf of hardworking Ontarians.
I couldn't do any of it without with our amazing team of NDP MPPs, incredible staff & volunteers. 🧡💪

This is the story of how a handful of Toronto businessmen got their way on bike lane policies across the province.
Among other things, they falsely claim that bike lanes negatively impact emergency services.
However, according to Toronto’s Deputy Fire Chief, response times have actually improved since the Bloor bike lanes were installed.
If you have to lie to push your agenda, you’re probably on the wrong side of the issue.
