In this week’s edition of Pambazuka News (@FahamuAfrica), I gave a critical analysis of USA’s ‘Christian-genocide’ narrative that is parroted by @RepRileyMoore. I asked ‘why would we be told to forego important bilateral agreements with Russia & China?’

We need state police units like other federating countries. People may resort to self-harm & reprisals if kidnapping for ransom persists. The social contract between the state & the citizenry is already breached.
@officialABAT, @oyostategovt, @OyoPoliceNG@OfficialDSSNG. Act now!
LG autonomy is the way to go! Not only is it better for executing local projects and listening to members of the local communities, it will also help in dealing with insecurity. @seyimakinde may not be fit for any executive federal role. He was against LG autonomy.
I had 20 patients in my Pediatric War Injuries Clinic today, for follow-up care.
Of the 20 children, Israel had killed one or both parents of 19 of them.

Bandits need to be hunted and exterminated. Nobody is authorised to live in the forest. Create a strong force to exterminate bandits and punish their apologists.
Ignore the two foolish groups below:
@Necessary_Cho You’re the one misunderstanding their agenda which is Islamization which would place their Fulani tribes as the number one citizen because Fulani controls everything Islam in Nigeria
They need severe punishment. You don’t preach to criminals. You punish them. They should experience the same pain they inflict on others. A time may come when other groups that associate them with crimes will give them a taste of their medicine.
No. You don’t need extra Islamic study to know that hurting others is bad, except if you’re saying that crime and inhumane practices are a structured part of their culture. They need to be disciplined first. Some of them must be executed or sentenced to life imprisonment.
You have been misinformed. One of the ethnic groups historically closest to Islam is the Fulani tribe, yet far distant from it in practice due to illiteracy, both Islamic & western,
Most nomads roaming the bush need Islamic knowledge, as much as you do. It is one of the arguments made by Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Gumi that holds some degree of validity.
We need to preach the true message of Islam to these bandits. Perhaps a better understanding of scripture can help bring us peace, since both the carrot & the stick have largely proven ineffective.
Anyone that’s remotely caught aiding bandits and banditry should be punished. The same for anyone appealing for leniency towards bandits. These lots are hardened criminals.
Students and teachers from Oyo State are still held in captivity by bandits. They are beaten and tortured.

#BurkinaFaso#Mali#Niger#JNIM
@femiogunleye9 Well, that does not have anything to do with Yoruba Muslims or the organisers of the conference he attended. I am sure many Muslims do not agree with his views on how to resolve the issue of banditry.
