Nogizaka46 Iwamoto Renka and Tomisato Nao will co-star as double leads in the upcoming TV Osaka drama "Futari Escape", starting October 4th 💜✨

Based on the manga by Taguchi Shouichi (Ichijinsha), the story follows two characters:

- The "Senior" (played by Iwamoto Renka), an adorable but unemployed gamer who's a "professional at escaping reality".

- The "Junior" (played by Tomisato Nao), a manga artist constantly chased by deadlines who seeks help from her senior in finding ways to escape reality.

For Tomisato Nao, this marks both her first terrestrial TV drama role and her first starring role.

Yuuko Tsubakino, of idol group Himemosu Orchestra, has been talking about her past. The 24-year-old revealed that while at prep school she found studying to be hard, but was saved by observing the hard work of Keyakizaka46's Neru Nagahama, and wanted to become an idol herself. She failed a Sakamichi Series audition, and her mind turned to becoming a weather forecaster, but while studying at Ibaraki University, she successfully auditioned to become a member of Himemosu Orchestra. Then, in 2022, her father took his own life - she learnt later that he had been pushed to the brink by work during COVID-19, and had fallen into depression. She felt regret and sadness, and wanted to follow her father, but her mother stopped her by pointing out the sadness her fans would feel if she did. She pushed herself to return as an idol in two weeks, but did not reveal her father's death until this month, when she found there were more than 10 fans who had lost family members in similar ways, and she became a source of strength to them. She had promised her father that she would do her best to pass the difficult weather forecaster exam, and at her fourth attempt succeeded. She is now a member of "Weather Map" in parallel with her idol career, and appears on TV programs and online weather forecasts attracting a new set of fans. When asked how she would describe her life in weather she said: "I was supported by idols during difficult times, and now I'm an idol, and the people who support me are all warm and nice.
