@jskalc@bcardarella I'd be interested in hearing of some Elixir+Nx real time data processing success stories. I've heard of a good amount of Elixir + Phoenix and even serious Nerves usage on prod, but I hardly ever hear about Nx
@LinusMixson How did they get 3.3K likes?
Do people even read what they're handing out likes to? Or is it just "haha funny current Matt Damon Odyssey meme, here's a like"
@shahryar_tbiz > You don't need big teams to run its so there aren't many Elixir jobs
No, it's way simpler than that: It's not a popular language, hence there aren't many jobs. It's a good language but so are Rust, Scala, Clojure, etc, but none of them have many jobs for that same reason.
@SandyofCthulhu You've designed for tabletop games, RTS games (which are sorta similar but also very different), and Doom which is a straight up first person action game. I'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts on what overlaps there exist, things that translate between genres, etc
@RevaeRavus@therealcliffyb Was gonna say this. It's more like a demonic possession than a disease. The only thing in common seems to be that it always starts with some level of proximity to the necronomicon(s).
