We have raised a $550 million Series E at a $8.8B valuation to accelerate our growth in the U.S. and globally, and deepen investment in the Legora aOS, our agentic operating system for legal work.
@Atreidesmgmt leads this round, alongside new investors @BaronCapital, @CapitalGroup, @Fidelity, @GladeBrookCap, and @jpmorgan. Every major existing investor is participating. We’re grateful to have partners who share our ambition and our long-term view.
We build AI together with the people who use it. That’s always been our approach. Our customers help shape what we build, pushing us to go further on the work that matters.
This is the most exciting time in history to be a lawyer, and we’re lucky to be in the middle of it.

We have raised a $550M Series E at an $8.8B valuation, led by Atreides.
Every major existing investor is back in, and we’re welcoming Baron Capital, Capital Group, Fidelity, Glade Brook and J.P. Morgan. We picked investors who think in decades. Several of them work with law firms and legal teams every day, so they can see where the work is heading.
Lawyers are moving from AI assistants to agents that do multi-step work. The money goes there. We’re growing our teams across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, and going deeper on the Legora aOS.
Thank you to the 1,000+ people at Legora, and to the 140,000 legal professionals who use what we build.
I say this a lot because I believe it: it’s the best time in history to be a lawyer. We're thankful to be a part of it.

This month, Opus 5.5 leads the @WeAreLegora BAR on overall quality, 6% above average. But overall rankings don’t tell the whole story. Muse Spark 1.3 ranks in the bottom half overall yet places high on review tasks.
That’s exactly why the October update adds filtering by practice area, task family, and model: 30 practice areas, seven task families, 17 models. Filter by task family and you’ll see how models actually perform on the type of work you need done, not just where they land on average.
Since launching the BAR, our Benchmark for Agentic Reasoning, we’ve kept testing the latest frontier models on tasks drawn from real-world cases, tracking what actually improves legal work as both the models and our harness evolve.

NUS Law is joining Legora’s Legal AI Scholars Program.
Faculty and students get complimentary access to Legora along with training from Legora’s team in Singapore. Recognized as Asia’s global law school, NUS Law is bringing agentic AI into how it prepares students for practice.
“Our students will spend their careers in a profession where AI is part of everyday legal work, and university is where they should learn to use it well. Good lawyering, however, still starts with reading cases closely, building a sound argument and taking responsibility for it. We will therefore introduce Legora only once students have established these foundations. The aim is for our graduates to be lawyers who understand when to rely on these tools, and when not to.” said Cheng-Han Tan, S.C., Professor and Chief Strategy Officer at NUS Faculty of Law.
Students will use Legora for research, document review, and drafting, while learning to evaluate AI outputs critically rather than defer to them. NUS Law joins Northwestern, Stanford, and the University of Chicago in the program, which recently expanded to the UK as well.

@Ansarada and Legora are integrating to bring data room documents directly into AI-powered deal work.
On a live deal, the key documents sit in the data room while the analysis happens in Legora. Moving them across platforms usually means downloading, rebuilding folder structures, and re-uploading, often on a tight timetable. This integration replaces those steps with a few clicks: deal teams can browse their Ansarada data rooms from inside Legora, import what a task calls for, then run diligence and manage closing checklists without leaving the platform.
Permissions carry over automatically, and every document pulled in is logged in the data room’s own audit trail.
“Ansarada has been part of how deals get done in Australia and New Zealand for two decades,” said Heather Paterson, VP Revenue, APAC at Legora. “Bringing those data rooms into Legora means deal teams can take documents from first review all the way to closing, without leaving the platform.”
The integration is available in beta today to Legora customers with access to an Ansarada data room.
What does a day at work look like for an AI-fluent lawyer? Much closer to the one they envisioned when they started law school.

We’re partnering with @BlueJLegal, bringing specialist tax research directly into Legora.
Lawyers can now answer tax questions without stepping outside the matter they’re working on in Legora, with every answer linked back to its source so the reasoning can be checked before it reaches a client.
“Legora’s legal research is built to support the tax questions our customers face every day,” said Bryan Tsao, Chief Product Officer at Legora. “Blue J adds specialist depth through additional secondary sources lawyers can check, right in the work they’re already doing.”

In case you missed it: the week at Legora.
We launched Intake, the agentic legal front door for in-house teams, alongside our Integration Ecosystem: 30+ integrations spanning document management, contracting, data rooms, eSignature, eDiscovery, productivity, and more.
@TheTimes published a profile on our CEO and co-founder @MaxJunestrand, covering a lot of ground, from the Jude Law campaign to Legora’s path from a three-person team in a windowless room at a Nordic law firm to $200M in ARR, to Max’s own path from competitive Dota 2 player to building the company.
We spent Wednesday and Thursday at Legal Geek. Our booth and the new Legora Collective Lounge were busy from start to finish, with clients, familiar faces, and new connections stopping by throughout, and Chief Product Officer Bryan Tsao took the stage for one of the event’s highlights.
We also announced Eric Glyman and Stuart Ingis as speakers for Precedent, our upcoming event in New York. They’ll join the lineup discussing everything from responsible AI adoption to earning the trust of professionals who can’t afford to be wrong, and what legal can learn from finance’s head start. More on Precedent soon.

If your legal team is still chasing context, manually triaging requests, and working weekends to keep up, this one's for you.
Intake turns ad-hoc requests into tracked work in Legora, executes the work with the Legora Agent, and sends it back to the requester, with a lawyer accountable throughout.
Walter Myer, Product Lead at Legora and former lawyer, walks through how it works.
Legora and @imanageinc are deepening their integration through the iManage MCP Server.
Legora’s existing iManage API integration already lets lawyers browse, search, access, and save back iManage documents without leaving Legora. Connecting through the MCP Server extends that further, giving lawyers more ways to manage work directly in iManage, including moving documents and updating document information, all through Legora-enabled workflows.
“A firm’s iManage platform holds years of work product, know-how, and context, and lawyers want to put that to work in Legora,” said Gabriel Quek, Senior Director, Technology Partnerships at Legora. “Connecting to the iManage MCP Server will let lawyers draw on firm knowledge and document history, and execute work in iManage, without leaving Legora.”
For firms using iManage Insight+, that means institutional knowledge and past matters become directly accessible within Legora, with iManage remaining the single, secure source of truth.

@HoganLovells is rolling out Legora globally.
The partnership follows an extensive pilot: more than 1,300 lawyers across 18 practice teams put Legora to work on real matters spanning capital markets, M&A, disputes, and more. The firm, formed this year through the merger of Hogan Lovells and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, is now the world’s fifth-largest law firm by revenue.
“Legora has been supporting our lawyers across a range of legal work and helping us explore new ways to deliver high-quality service to clients, while maintaining the professional judgment that remains at the heart of what we do,” said Miguel Zaldivar, CEO of Hogan Lovells Cadwalader.
The firm will also be a design partner on Legora’s agentic Legal Research and Monitors products. “That scrutiny is exactly why their input will make these products better for every firm that uses them next,” said @MaxJunestrand, Co-Founder and CEO of Legora.

People outside legal aren’t often eager to learn how it actually works.
They’re trying to get a deal signed or a supplier approved. Legal is one step in that process, and they want it to be fast. When it isn’t, people find ways around it.
Intake starts where they already are. At launch, requests come in through Slack, with Teams, email, and MCP to follow. No form to fill in, no new tool to learn, and no Legora license needed.
The Agent asks for what’s missing at the start, not three messages later. When the work is done, the answer comes back in the same thread, with a lawyer accountable throughout.

Today, we’re bringing the Legora Agent to Copilot as a launch partner for Copilot for Legal.
Legal teams have asked for more ways to use Legora alongside their existing tools, and this launch lets lawyers call on Legora directly from Copilot.
We’re excited to take this next step with @Microsoft, building on our partnership across Azure and Microsoft 365.
Ramp didn’t make finance teams a little faster. It changed what a finance team is.
That’s the bar we hold ourselves to for legal. So we invited the person who set it.
Eric Glyman, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of @tryramp, headlines Precedent NYC in a fireside chat with Legora’s Co-Founder and CEO @MaxJunestrand. Two industries where a single mistake is expensive. One shared bet that AI could change how the work gets done. On stage, they compare notes: how you earn the trust of professionals who can’t afford to be wrong, where AI changes the work and where it doesn’t, and what legal can learn from finance’s head start. Welcome, @eglyman.
