Unhappy that their own Fit and Proper Persons Test allowed Dejphon Chansiri to take control in the first place, the @EFL now seem determined to punish Sheffield Wednesday for years to come.
Perhaps the EFL should introduce a Fit and Proper Persons Test for their own competence.
Happy 158th birthday to #swfc
Feels like there’s definitely more downs than ups following this club, but we keep coming back for more...
Keep the faith, UTO!

🟡⚫️ SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY SUPPORTERS’ TRUST REMINDER 🟡⚫️
RE : MERCHANDISE BOYCOTT
Following today’s release of this season’s away shirt, we want to remind supporters of the suggested merchandise boycott.
This action was not taken lightly. It was introduced in response to the continued mismanagement of our football club, a total lack of transparency, and the disrespect shown towards the fanbase by the club’s ownership.
The launch of a new kit does not change the reality – we are a club in crisis. Staff remain unpaid. Trust between club and community has been broken. The priorities of this ownership remain wildly out of step with what this great club stands for.
We urge supporters to stand strong, stand as one, and refrain from purchasing any official merchandise – including the new away shirt – until meaningful change is delivered.
Your solidarity sends a powerful message.
#SWFC #EnoughisEnough
It’s so incredibly sad what it’s come to at Sheffield Wednesday. These fans, and hundreds of people who work at the football club, deserve so much better.
“We had a lot of conversations as a family and when I told my daughter Elsie that I might be leaving she started crying. Then last night when I told her I was staying she started crying again. I asked her why and she said they are just happy tears.” 💙
The Trust is asking all fans to begin an immediate boycott of all non-ticket spending at SWFC - including merchandise and refreshments - until Dejphon Chansiri has sold the club. #SWFC#EnoughIsEnough
I stand in solidarity with everyone connected with #swfc who is being affected by its mis management including staff and players.
I was asked to launch the kit this year and said no. I’m sure you know why I said no. If that’s my small contribution to a protest then so be it.
I hope the fanbase remains together as one.
You all matter and we all should be heard. YOU are the real asset and don’t let him tell you otherwise.
Steve

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY STADIUM
THIS MONDAY – 18:00
CHANSIRI OUT!
He's finished. His time is up. The silence from the top has gone on too long. We deserve answers, respect, and leadership that puts the club first. This is our home, our team, and our fight.
