If you think all wins are equal, the 2020 Steelers' 11–0 start might change your mind. WeightedWins grades every team by who they beat and who beat them.
Beat a 4–1 team? +4 points
Lose to a 4–1 team? –1 point

The NHL is broken, let's fix it:
1. Move to 4 on 4
2. Remove offsides
3. Bring regular season OT to the playoffs
The most talented players are smothered by goons.
Give them space to show their greatness.
Why don't they have 2 minutes in between rounds in the UFC?
Fighters train for months, and then get only 60 seconds.
Plus you can sell more premium ads.
Seems like a win win.
Maybe 3 minutes for championship rounds?
The NBA needs to fix flopping and dirty fouls.
OKC was a few points from going back to back, built on those two.
Fans forgot quickly because Knicks Spurs was magic, but the problem is still there.
How would you fix this problem?
How to fix flopping in the NBA:
1. Treat it like a threat to your game. It is.
2. Allow video review for each suspected flop.
3. If confirmed, eject the player and suspend for 1 game.
4. Next violations are 2, 4, 8, 16 games, etc.
Do the same for dirty fouls.
@agentmma What leverage does he have exactly?
Or in other words, what impact would it have on the UFC to just move on to Khamzat vs Imavov for the interim title, and then convert it to the undisputed title in 6 months?
@combatsportguys What %? I think quite a bit for the month, and $1m of the $91M ~1%
Why sign? Leverage. "Sign or no title fight", and then if you win, see what leverage you have.
How to get leverage? Unions. If the WNBA got a min salary of $270k, imagine what the UFC Union could do.
UFC used to make money from PPV.
Revenue = $50-$100 X PPV buys
Now Paramount pays ~$42M per numbered event.
Thats the equivalent of 420,000 to 700,000 PPV buys per event.
If you are asking if fighter X is "a draw", you are not in the updated business model.
@LegionHoops@CNBCSport@TheNBABase Foul baiting is the #1 issue.
We were one OKC win from NBA product death.
Instead we got magic in the Finals and people forgot.
1. Train AI to review games for foul baiting
2. Human review for accuracy
3. Suspend players for flopping
4. When trusted, use it live
New NBA
Why are NFL teams throwing under 10 yard routes?
If your route is over 10 yards, you need a 33% completion rate.
Think Mike D'Antoni for Football.
Was crazy to shoot mostly 3's until it everyone did it.
