@SamaHoole Fun fact. Wild berries (the one on the right) planted themselves on my lawn (I live close to the woods). I now have a 4x5m patch of then.
I pick thm and eat a small handfull of them 2 days a year. Sama is on to something.
@AmirWeiss1@realDaveFeldman Damn, sorry to hear that. It’s a complicated background... A lot of confounders, especially with the meds.
All I can say is wish you all the best. Do what you think works best, to keep yourself fit and healthy 🍀
@AmirWeiss1@realDaveFeldman Strong statement.
Can you give more details? Before carnivore, during, after.. health, bloods?
Genuinely interested, thanks.
@grok@MasihEther@elonmusk Isn’t the cost of nuclear mostly because of the high cost imposed by very strict regulation, which is arguably proportionally much stricter and costlier compared to other methods of generating power?
@SamaHoole Good summary, but missing one very important driver:
7th day Adventists
Huge influence on exclusion of animal foods from western diets, that most people never heard about

@MeTheAngryCat@wilsonhlthcoach To make transition to ketosis simpler for a life long high carber, a month of low carb (80-120g carbs) is one way to go.
@ElieJarrougeMD They have a prescription for the numbers
They only have backwards diet & lifestyle guidelines for metabolic health
The former is easy and gets the number down ✅
The latter is difficult and mostly does nothing ❌
In their mind its a simple choice
@JulianMellentin@ProfTimNoakes I try to be a respectful person when it comes to opposing opinions
But people like Martin bring out the worst in me
I have zero tolerance left for these cultists. I don’t care if they are naive/missinformed or simply dumb/paid-off
They are causing so much pain and suffering
@LewisWithrow5@robertlufkinmd I cut up an old barbell with threaded sleeves and played around with the handle to make it thicker, and tryed diff types of stoppers at the end.
Doesn’t look classy, but you can load it however you want in small increments. And the plates stay in place 👍
Good enough for me.
@LewisWithrow5@robertlufkinmd I got into doubles more in recent years, started using barbells less and upped the kb stack :). Doubles build “armor”, but they’re tough as hell, I love to c&p with singles
35 lb is a heavy club. Yeah they’re pricey, I wen’t the DIY route from the start, I’ll post some pictures
@LewisWithrow5@robertlufkinmd Ah, there’s more than 1 😂👌
Agree 💯 Clubs do incredible things for hips, shoulders and posture in general. I do a couple mace 360s on every warm up, and club circles, pendulums, “shield casts” etc as standalone excercises - DIY adjustable clubs
KB set keeps growing as well
@LewisWithrow5@robertlufkinmd Great choice 👌
The older I get the more I love using kettlebells and clubs. My (injured) joints love them as well.
Perfect combo of skill, strenght, conditioning, and mobility.
@Freweini_Ghebre@ElieJarrougeMD@cremieuxrecueil Ditch “whole grains” and replace “lean proteins” with “meat, eggs and dairy”, put “fruits” at the end as snack/desert, and you’re much closer to good nutrition.
@BiggestComeback Be me. Low carb 15y+, never push any extremes. Slowly improve body composition in the face of aging, chronic health issues and modern office life
Never get many followers, so no backlash 🤷♂️ 😂
I’m not an “account” though, just a person who likes to hang around, so its all good
The mad rush to Net Zero has caused an outbreak of bovine stupidity amongst our ruling classes. Bovaer is a dangerous and ineffective "solution" to a non-existent problem. We can only hope Arla does the right thing and doesn't extend the trial (10/n)
@BiggestComeback I don’t think I had a single low carb meal in the last 15y (home cooked, which is most of them), that I didn’t enjoy eating.
I have rather limited food variety, but every single meal is a pleasure. I’m like a kid on xmass sitting down at the table every time, lol.
@SamaHoole I like that
The biggest issue with pork is, that the supermarket stuff has a terrible fatty acid profile. The feed is to blame
It’s a PITA to get small farm pork fed root veg and such, but the difference is amazing. The store bought pork fat literally makes me nauseous
