In 2 yrs. the number of test-optional colleges has doubled (1800+). With Open AI & #chatGPT I'd be shocked if 1/2 as many schools use essays 2 yrs. from now. Perhaps proctored writing/ timed submissions/ previously written work, but not the conventional essay we currently see.
