Canadian cell phone providers are absolutely screwing us. For context, the no-contract AUS mobile plan I bought was $49 AUD for unlimited calls/texts locally & to 20 countries, and 120 GB of data - in a large country with a smaller population than Canada.
Heads up, if you're enrolled in @Rogers Roam Like Home, they will charge you $15 for the day, even if you only send a 75 cent text message and have everything else turned off. Does that not seem exploitative?
So I have 5 x $15 charges from @Rogers for about 7 text messages sent while I was in Australia. That's about $10/text. Anyone else dealing with this issue? @annedrewa@PatForanCTVNews@cbcgopublic
@VirginAustralia Thanks @VirginAustralia - I actually called via the international number. The rep was very helpful but said she couldn't change the name on the ticket because it was booked through Air Canada as a codeshare.
Hey @VirginAustralia - I accidentally misspelled my husband's name on an Air Canada reservation with a codeshare leg with you. Any chance you can change the name on the reservation?
This is ridiculous. This is not for security. This is not for legal reasons. We're not swapping passengers. This is just @aircanada being willfully unhelpful.
I booked our flights to Australia via @AirCanada with codeshare leg between Sydney & Perth on @VirginAustralia. Still 3 months away. Accidentally put husband's name as Kurt not Kurtis. AC claims they can't fix name, says to cancel flight and rebook - which is $2,400 more. FFS.
This happens every year, and with climate change, it's probably going to become a more regular occurrence. After the slush freezes tonight, it will be obvious tomorrow morning who made the effort to clear their sidewalks.
Would love to see this actually enforced, @CityofVancouver. I nearly killed myself a couple of times walking to the supermarket this afternoon past some pretty businesses on Broadway.
I hate the term "bleisure" but it does accurately describe how I tend to travel.
Workers planning 'bleisure' trips this summer spur travel demand https://t.co/07X0qje9R2
