@AlaskaAir@JasonDofSea@JasonDofSea this is very common in aviation. The airline closes the cabin door and pulls the jetway back, then they can legal count it as “departed” fully knowing they are delayed from taking off but they can then still count it as an on time departure.
I recently received a call from @SouthwestAir apologizing for the very poor service. They assured me management had heard the complaints about separating children from parents under their new seating policy. Obviously, that was just lip service. On a flight now departing DC, multiple young (under 6) children have been separated from their parents. This is extremely disturbing. I renew my call for the @FAANews to investigate this practice. It’s unacceptable. @SecDuffy
Dear @united
I cancelled the return leg of a domestic preferred seat round trip that cost around $1,200.
How in the world is it even legal that I was issued $75 in flight credit for the return leg of a $1,200 flight PSP to MCI. Did you all plan on flying me back in a hot air balloon?
Please help explain this.
Kash Patel in 2023: “I’m just saying Chris Wray doesn’t need a government funded G5 jet to go to vacations. Maybe we ground that plane. $15,000 every time it takes off. Just a thought.”
“We appreciate the efforts made by the Oversight Committee to work with us to in many ways lessen the negative impacts of its proposed retirement system changes on federal law enforcement officers,” Bara and Silverman wrote.
“However, the changes approved by the committee last month, which limit the supplement to only those who reach mandatory retirement age, continue to pose significant risks to national security and the retention of experienced federal law enforcement officers. In short, these changes would not only make earned voluntary retirement untenable for the brave men and women of the FBI, Secret Service, Drug Enforcement Agency, ICE-Homeland Security Investigations, Customs and Border Protection, and every other federal agency, but it is patently unfair to change the rules on those who have dedicated their lives to the defense of this nation.”
