@TheyMayBeParted The audio that accompanies this segment of the Get Back doc (where George Martin can be heard briefly) - is that from Nagra reels too or was that a PJ-postproduction montage?

I like the way these two (it's Joe Jackson on piano and backing vox) both hollow out the arrangement while also serving an even bigger dose of attitude!
And @DPunctum was THE PERSON championing Escalator when no one else on the internet remembered - he's how I found it too! My heart is heavy for you Marcello and thanks for writing this:

There are many beautiful tributes circulating for Ms Carla, but two that I KNEW needed to be written so I'm amazed it happened:
She trusted @ethan_iverson enough to share so much new info in the epic interview / overview she deserved in her time: - https://t.co/HSeNdOhN97

@kmkstuff @DonBreithaupt @jeffbreithaupt I took my wife on a date to that Beacon rarities night back in 2011 - JAW DROPPED when they started talking about that story and I realized they were gonna RUN IT FOR REAL. 😁😁
@MichCapCon@MalloryMcMorrow@jamieahope With a ‘watchdog” like this org publishes a retraction of one purposeful misquote and then quickly reposts another version of the same lane of attack - I think it’s not an accident Senator. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
The rock still needs pushing back up the hill 🙏🏻
@darcyjamesargue@ethan_iverson And that since the first tune at the first KOB session called was Freddie, that means all of Bill's piano work occurred AFTER Wynton's keeper take.
@Komaniecki_R Wait, Walter Everett who wrote two full BOOKS full of harmonic analyses of every Beatles recording? He wrote these vague descriptions in the briefing? HE KNOWS how to do this correctly and chose not to? https://t.co/AlsW7jI3OK
@schuylerchapman Key album? All tunes credited as co-compositions, her vocals everywhere in the mix (essentially co-lead on IYRLM) and the flavor of the chord changes sound more like her subsequent solo albums than the rest of Stevie's post-1971 output. Where THEY were coming from #syreeta.
@SotoAlfred The first time one of my musician friends gleefully dropped this on me, I genuinely went WTF? And then the first time a producer asked me to play keyboards for a track that sounded like "this" he was pleasantly surprised when I knew the vibe already.
@DPunctum Dude, the Step on Step review made my whole day. ❤️ One person out here in NYC truly values your gift for music writing, I always get a new angle I hadn't thought about before you connect the dots.
