On reading the @MoneyTelegraph story, it says:

Importantly, taxpayers have the right to appeal to an independent tax tribunal if they disagree with the amount of tax being demanded, with the charter also saying: “We’ll be mindful of your wider personal situation��

But actually the story is WRONG as the #LoanCharge deliberately REMOVES THE RIGHT TO APPEAL

And #HMRC are also using the "Hoey" decision last year to also block appeals. They use every trick in the book to deny the opportunity for fairness

And when it comes to bankruptcies, it's clear they have driven many to this as they have been forced to admit

@HMRCgovuk is now a rogue organisation with a complete lack of oversight - smacks of the #PostOfficeScandal as in both cases victims have DIED as a result

Thus is 100% spot on. The idea that Government Ministers can claim that they weren't aware of the untold damage this has caused is for the birds. Stride was a key enabler of all of this, he knew it was killing ppl, and he must be held to account. #hmrc #LoanChargeScandal
