@xkcd I’ve translated to Hebrew one of my favorite XKCD comics. Had to mirror the image for the right-to-left text to make sense. Is there anywhere on your website where I could upload this?
As a follow up to my talk @hopeconf about brining security and privacy to ordinary people, I’m hosting an open discussion on Zoom next weekend about bringing privacy awareness and education to the younger generation. I’ll post the exact time in a few days. Stay tuned. Thanks.
@kwiens I was looking forward to your talk at @hopeconf “Inside the Fight for the Right to Repair”. Bummer it didn’t take place. Are you releasing it in some other form? Thanks!
I gave a talk at @hopeconf this morning EST about educating and advocating for security and privacy, and the importance of articulating the long-term implications of certain practices that make our lives very convenient in the short term.
@firefox#containers is a super useful extension. Opening a new tab in the new version requires an extra step - possible to revert back to the version where it only takes one click? Sounds stupid but with my 5,000 open tabs, that’s a lot of extra clicking to do! 😁 thank you
@mitmproxy@cortesi@maximilianhils thanks and thanks and thanks. Can’t tell you how much I’ve learned about protocols, malware strains, and sneaky apps and the different things I’ve created to help the good guys as a result of your awesome work with #mitmproxy. You rock.
@serveriusbv what's the best way to file a complaint against a spamming server that you are possibly hosting? I couldn't find a form on your Contact page. Thanks.
@SAINTCON thanks for allowing me to teach the two AWS sessions! If you’ve attended, make sure to delete all the objects we’ve created. Deleting the CloudFormation stack and the VPC will take care of most of it. And thanks! 😀
@SAINTCON for my AWS sessions next week: The Intro class just requires an AWS account and an SQL client. For the Security class, create a stack from my Cloudformation template which should be available on Monday. Links and info at https://t.co/8V3Y1cVM1s
I’ll be speaking at @pumpcon this Saturday! It’s a small conference in a bar with no vendor sponsorship yay. and little to no BS. I think. https://t.co/ujMqTiqWUk
Back at @Saintcon! I'm giving two AWS trainings - an intro to the platform and a security review. I'm also presenting one live demo - an expanded version of the C&C I showed in my Powershell class two conferences ago. See you next month in Provo. #Saintcon
#Ransomware means a series of failures: something malicious got inside your systems. Executed successfully. Moved around your network. Had full access to your files. Communicated with a C&C. And you only detected it after users complained that their docs looked funny. #Baltimore
@WhereIsBiggles This was such a great class! I am brand new to PowerShell, and CyberSecurity, and I learned a ton. Thank you for the clear and concise presentation.
Hello Powershell class at the NY State Cyber Security Conference on 6/6/19: pleasure teaching you and thanks for having me. We got to cover a lot in 6 hours! You can find key takeaways, command transcript, slides, and links to the training material here: https://t.co/ogleLFrpp7
@capnspacehook@BSidesCharm That was a great talk Andrew! Keep it up, your tool is fantastic. Nice work on the obfuscators to Charity Barker and Elijah Barker. As promised, I’ll run it against some of my auditing tools to see what they catch, if anything. Curious! I’ll report back.
