Father, we pray families facing pediatric cancer would trust you as their Savior. You sent your only son, Jesus, who walked the earth fully God and fully man to sacrifice his life so that we may know you eternally. We are grateful you receive all who call you Father!

Father, we pray for rest for children with cancer + their families. You are a God of comfort + peace. Thank you for caring for each situation and for the gift of rest in you. We pray these families would have restful nights with peaceful sleep and quality rest.

Father, we pray for emotional + mental strength for children with cancer + their families. Emotions run strong on the journey of childhood cancer. We are thankful that you understand our thoughts + feelings and place people in our lives to care for + listen to us.

Sept 26:

Father, we pray you would protect children with cancer and their families from harmful germs. We understand children on treatment have compromised immune systems and that germs can wreak havoc on their bodies. Please keep them safe.

Sept 25: A PRAYER FOR MARRIAGES...

Father, we lift each married couple who has a child with cancer. Pediatrics cancer can bring relational strain. Help couples have extraordinary patience, communicate, listen + be quick to forgive. Strengthen their marriages + give them counsel.

Father, thank you for the people you put in our lives to help us on our journey. Encourage friends, churches, schools, neighborhoods and sports teams to utilize the unique gifts you have given them to support families facing childhood cancer!

Father, thank you that we can lay our cares on you. Cancer can cause our minds to be filled with fear, but your Word says “perfect love casts out all fear.” Cast out fear in the minds + hearts of children with cancer + their families + replace it with your perfect love!

Father, thank you for the gift of laughter. Your Word tells us a cheerful heart is like good medicine. Help children with cancer + their families have big belly laughs today! Send people who bring “good cheer”. Thank you for allowing us to laugh, even when life is hard.

Father, we continue to pray for families who have a child with cancer + that they would experience joy in their lives - a happiness that is not dependent on circumstances. In the worst times, each of us can experience true joy when we trust in You!
