A letter to our Senators and Representatives.

Gentlemen,
I am a 64-year-old American that has worked and paid taxes since I was fifteen years old. I have never taken any type of handout from anyone, including the US government. After 49 years of working, I have decided to retire, at least partially. According to you, it’s “early  retirement”.  I don’t consider 49 years of working, “early”. Had I been a government employee I could have retired 29 years ago, or had I been a senator, I could have retired, what… 39 years ago? with full retirement pay and free healthcare for life.
Because I retired before reaching my “full retirement age”; which is decided by you, I have a reduced Social Security payment, which you refer to as a “benefit”. I see it as a return of my money that I have paid in for 49 years. This reduced payment is not enough to live on. The payment at full retirement age is not enough to live on. I have to work some, to supplement my income, but low and behold I can only earn a certain amount (which is still not enough to live on) and then you start docking my Social Security.
Apparently, I earned too much at some point because I just received a letter from the SSA stating that my next three SSA payments will be cut in half, and the real kicker is I still “owe” $38.00. I can’t work more to make up the difference because I will only be further penalized.
It is extremely infuriating, as an American citizen, to be treated this way. Look at the amount of fraud, look at the number of people, many of whom have never paid a dime into the system, receiving free benefits from the government. Look at the billions paid to and on behalf of illegal immigrants. All I want is the money I paid in and a chance to retire in peace.

How did 13 people living in Israel suddenly show up on Michigan's voter rolls in one of the most crime-ridden neighborhoods of Detroit over an uninhabited space above a coffee shop where Senator Elissa Slotkin appeared for a campaign event?

I woke up and as I had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same.

I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone.

You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind!

• If a man pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.

• Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.

• Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.

• It was cool for Joe Biden to "blackmail" the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.

• People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.

• People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.

• Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.

• Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome.

• $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.

• If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.

• People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.

• We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us.

• Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.

• Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights.

• And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"?!

Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility and people are dying of a Chinese virus, but it racist to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China.

We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right.

Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, is taking on water, and is sinking fast. The choice is yours to make. What will it be? Time is short, make your choice wisely!

Justice Clarence Thomas just dropped the TRUTH that every American needs to hear. Progressivism isn’t just some harmless idea — it’s a direct assault on the very soul of this country. I used to view Donald Trump simply as a solid, effective president... someone who delivered results on the economy, borders, and foreign policy without all the usual political polish.

But over time, I've come to see something much bigger: the entire American political system has been rotten and corrupt for decades. It's not just isolated scandals or bad actors; it's a deeply entrenched network of career politicians, unelected bureaucrats, lobbyists, intelligence agencies, and media gatekeepers who operate as a self-protecting "uniparty" or "swamp."

They prioritize their own power, insider deals, endless wars, and special interests over the actual needs of everyday Americans. Elections often feel like theater, with the same outcomes no matter who wins—more debt, more control, more erosion of freedoms.

What sets Trump apart is that he's the only major figure in modern politics who's truly taken on that machine head-on and actually shaken it. Previous leaders talked tough about reform but ultimately played along with the system, got rich from it, or were too tied into it to challenge it meaningfully.

Donald Trump, as a DC outsider who didn't need their approval or their money, has exposed the corruption, fought back against weaponized institutions, and forced the hidden power structures into the open... even when it meant relentless attacks, impeachments, indictments, and lawfare aimed directly at him and his children.

He's far from perfect, and the battle is far from over, but for the first time in my lifetime, someone has genuinely threatened the status quo and refused to back down. That's why the pushback against him has been so ferocious: he represents the real possibility of dismantling the corrupt system rather than just managing it.

To me, supporting him now isn't just about one good presidency... it's about finally having a fighter who's willing to take on the whole rigged game for the sake of the country, and God help us if he fails.

We’ve Had to “Hunker in the Bunker”
Just over 2 weeks ago, Janet and I and our 2 dogs left our residence to move into the Command Center where the @usembassyjlm is overseeing the well-being of the 700,000 Americans who live in Israel. We’ve slept on cots since moving into our “temporary home”, made our meals using a microwave and hot plate, and been awakened more times than I can count due to the startling scream of sirens indicating a missile attack. But we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world right now. Why? Because what the US under @POTUS is doing is necessary and consequential and it is to protect America and to put “America First.”

It’s one of the most historic military operations in US history—just for the level of assets our nation has moved to the region and the unprecedented and seamless partnership with Israel to end the threat of the Iranian regime.
This all started in 1979 when Iran underwent a revolution and the overthrow of the then government. The new extremist Islamic regime launched their reign of terror with the storming of the US Embassy in Tehran and the taking of 52 American Embassy diplomats and holding them for 444 days as hostages.
They have never changed their message. It’s always been “Death to America!” Americans are naïve to say this operation is Israel’s war and it has nothing to do with America. It’s ALWAYS been about America. The Iranian regime has killed thousands of Americans directly and through its terror proxies like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. It has supplied money and weaponry that has killed or maimed both US soldiers and civilians. It has attempted to assassinate President Trump as well as senior US diplomats. And it has engaged in cyber war and a carefully designed “message war” through the media to divide and conquer our nation.
@realDonaldTrump tried repeatedly to negotiate a peaceful conclusion that took the aspiration of a nuclear weapon and the will to use it out of the hands of these terrorists. His engagement militarily in the summer of 2025 during the 12 Day War should have sent a clear message. The Iranian “Extreme Leader” failed to get it.
In the South where I grew up, there’s the expression that there’s “No education in the 2nd kick of a mule!” If the mule’s first kick didn’t teach one something, getting another kick probably won’t teach the lesson either! The Iranian regime seems oblivious to what should be obvious. Neither the US nor Israel will stand by helplessly as Iran builds a weapon that it builds for the sole purpose of carrying out a threat it’s made for 47 years.
And THIS is why we have to “Hunker in the Bunker” while President Trump does what other Presidents promised but didn’t deliver—the defeat of the Iranian regime and the destruction of their crazed capacity to send nuclear weapons to America.
