@Richard_Vixen@UberDriverStole AFTER the incident, the mom and her other daughters were placed in a hotel room for safety and she INVITES THE MAN WHO RAPED HER TODDLER OVER. Do you not see the problem with this mother letting an abuser be around her children?
@Richard_Vixen@UberDriverStole A man can be held responsible for his crimes, but at the same time we can recognize that as a parent you have a burden to protect your child, and leaving them alone with people you don't know well enough is negligent. It's not demonizing women to say that.
@GiffLasta "respect" is a weird way to put it. I would not respect him more regardless of what he did. If he calls me fat I probably agree with him, but to lose weight I need to be self motivated and not much he can say will effect the outcome.
@Richard_Vixen Not what I said queen. Of course that POS is responsible for what he's done. But as a mother, you leave some man who is not even the father alone with your child, you have failed to protect your child from harm. It's a tale as old as time.
@strongdump@f3ntcrisis@gunk4188 Entitled millenial parents refusing to back up teachers when their children are behaving like animals is one of the reasons gen A is cooked. Your child isn't the main character, other kids are trying to learn and if you don't like it, homeschool your kid.
This is boomer fantasy. Old people are just as addicted to their phones
I can promise he just put his down after liking minion memes and wishing AI soldiers happy birthday.
@f3ntcrisis@gunk4188 When I was in elementary school we weren't allowed to have toys or anything with us during class. If we were caught playing with something it was taken. I don't think the request to confiscate it is unreasonable.
@gunk4188 Not reading this whole thread but I agree somewhat. Always assuming the worst of bad kids can become a self fulfilling prophecy, where they continue to be bad. But also, the request to confiscate the mask is not that unreasonable.
