$CDNS Cadence certifies AI design flows for $INTC Intel 18A-P & 14A

Cadence just announced that its AI-driven digital and custom design flows are now certified and signoff-ready on Intel’s 18A-P and 14A process technologies. Includes silicon-validated IP and advanced packaging support.

This is a meaningful ecosystem milestone. Customers need proven EDA tools, IP, and packaging before they’ll commit real designs.

Cadence (one of the two big EDA players) saying the flows are ready removes a key friction point for next-gen AI, HPC, and mobile chips on Intel’s advanced nodes. It signals that the 18A-P / 14A design ecosystem is maturing on schedule.
