@RedbirdFarmhand Met Pallante today. Had no clue he was starting today but ran into him on the backfields and he stopped to talk for five minutes this morning. Super down to Earth and cool guy.
@ctgolf17 @ggeiss_mlb You (and I for that matter) have no idea how he is inside the clubhouse. But every person that is asked says he’s a great teammate and leader. Him not being flashy is not equivalent to being a bad leader. That is DR’s personality, not USA. Don’t confuse the two.
@BloominOnionSTL @datzoulou@dgoold With more power very likely to come. (Think Jarren Duran) Also, even if the power never comes and he is an average hitter the rest of his career, 30/30 MLB teams would start him. Look at how long Andrelton Simmons was in the league. -You in fact do not know ball sir.
@BloominOnionSTL @datzoulou@dgoold Better defensively than Javy. Arguably had the best defensive season ever at SS. Virtually zero errors (on a torn meniscus) for a full season is absurd. Was an above average hitter rookie year, then was slightly below that last year (on a torn knee). Super twitchy athlete >Cont
@ctgolf17 @ggeiss_mlb He’s easily the best player and leader on the team. Was a clear choice for captain. Confused why you are worried about that in the first place. DeRosa and MLB teams having a say in playing time are the problems.
@CyrtHogg Pretty simple here. They aren’t aloud to use video but can make that call without. You can’t tell inside/outside from the dug but can high/low. The coach standing higher is watching high, the other one low.
@briscoe_les@johnrabe Completely disagree that he is a perfect example. Look at his stats in 2024. He was performing like one of the best minor league pitchers in the league. Had a really good 2025 when healthy. It’s really just an injury thing with him. This is one ST game, why overreact?
