I'm hoping that we can start a grassroots movement at the people level. We have the most to lose by continuing to be a part of Canada and we need to show our government that the majority of Albertans wanted so they can start advocating for us.
@KekwayB@ca_shmeek@thetaxpayer1 The working class Albertans that I know would all like a grassroots separation movement in Alberta. People who support alberta are staying, tend to be The wealthy, and government employees... Aka the wealthy.
@thetaxpayer1 They won't realize they have been played. The wealthy will continue to leave, multinational corporations will continue to flee ( not limited to Brookfield), and Canadians will continue to cry for increased taxes on the wealthy... Which becomes more and more of the middle class
@ArpaSelect Do you see how the gap between the rich and the poor has increased in the last 10 years? It's the wealthy, and the elite who now support the liberal government as it concentrates wealth in their hands.
@MadlerDO @EconguyRosie I'm a born and raised Albertan, and I remember when traveling to the states was expensive, but manageable... I have now come to the conclusion having been to Alabama, Washington DC, and Vegas in the last 6 months, I have Alabama wealth now but the others are out of my reach.
@liberal_party Thank goodness that he did support the truckers. Years later the invocation of the emergencies act would be declared unconstitutionaland a violation of law. The liberal NDP coalition was invoking illegal laws and ignoring fact based scientificly backed policy choices.
@liberal_party This is clearly a lie, and has been debunked several times. It is a shame to see the depths of which the liberal party will stoop to decieve Canadians.
@JinglaiHe I agree with you 100%, it is up to us young people to ensure that the liberal elite do not win and continue to destroy our future. We are quickly becoming a second world country...
@KingofSheldonia @WKidd1776@JimFergusonUK @squirlshirl76 That is my fear as well, I'm scared that the Anti american education system and media has instilled a strong sense of fear in so many of us. It will be a lot of work in the short term to educate people on why separation is critical, in the US is not a Boogeyman.
@WKidd1776@JimFergusonUK @squirlshirl76 I agree with you, this really does need to be a people-based movement. We need to be speaking with our friends and family and build strong advocacy for what's in it for us and our children. We have the youngest demographic, and are sending the most money to bankrupt provinces.
@DOGE@DOGE_USDA@DOGE_SSA See if you can identify good personnel within the IRS, and then repurpose them for auditing the finances of each government department. I'm sure there is many people within the IRS who would love nothing more than to find out the fraud within government.

This was an ad that ran 9 years ago prior to the election of Justin Trudeau. I feel like this ad has aged well and with the benefit of hindsight shows to be fairly accurate much to Canadians detriment :(
@JennaSudds Technically this is tax deferral. The government of Canada is in significant debt, the money that is not collected in the next two months will continue to collect interest over the next blank number of years... It will cost Canadians more in the long run.
#calgary#globalnews what is on fire in calgays sw. We are looking at it though our telescope and can't figure it out... I dont see emergency crews there yet.

The federal Gas Tax Fund (GTF) is a permanent source of annual funding to provinces and territories who, in turn, flow this funding to their municipalities to support local infrastructure priorities.

@Stepnstop per liter of tax to the federal and provincial governments.
$2,736 * 30.38 will equal $820 that the government's will get through fuel tax which would not apply to an electric vehicle.
