Dolichomitus is a widespread genus of Darwin wasps characterized by large bodies, long ovipositors & vivid colors. The new species of Dolichomitus, named Dolichomitus meii, was discovered at the biological station of Yanayacu on NE slopes of the tropical Ecuadorian Andes.
