And the General Sherman #Tree, a giant #sequoia in California, USA, stands as the largest living organism by volume, reaching an impressive 52,508 cubic feet (almost 1800 cubic meters).

On the other end, the largest organism based on area is #seagrass Posidonia australis. This #ocean meadow is made up of one single individual that has spread across 200 square kilometres via its underground roots and rhizomes – equivalent to around 28,000 soccer fields!

We are excited to share another member of our pack: The Noctalis!! There are about 25 types of bats in Germany, 7 of which you can discover on your own inside the limestone caves (“Segeberger Kalkhöhle”) at Noctalis!
