You don't need to be agency affiliated to take basic courses on the Wildland Fire Learning Portal. Make an account under "Private", "K-12", etc. and gain access to some training that can support your knowledge of wildland fire. I of course recommend these to those who want to possibly support efforts, not really to the general public as a whole.

Dolly did some legitimately amazing work with her fortune. Not many can truly say the same. She will be missed

In 1990, Dolly Parton built an eagle complex at Dollywood. It became the country’s largest living showcase of bald eagles.

More than 180 bald eagles have been released into the Smoky Mountains because of it.

She released one of the eagles herself and named it Liberty.

A beautiful fish with a coat of many colors, found in cold, clear waters across Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.

There are a lot of beautiful things in this world, and we’ll always have a special place in our hearts for the Dollys. Here’s to the Dollys that make our world a little more beautiful.

Found Rascal out back passed out next to the picnic table. I was worried he'd been into the sauce again. Turns out he had but thankfully this time it wasn't the full on hard stuff, just that tasty @Half_A_Pond Kentucky Rebel Scum sauce!

We have a few more summer days left and a few more bbq's left to enjoy! This week Rascal wants to give you a fireside 6" Colt .357 Python and is including some sauce so good it made his hair stand up!

There is a New Brush Fire at Hawk Meadow Trail, West of Somersett, Washoe County, Nevada.

This Fire is not within California at this time but is burning East of the California State Line.
