IMPORTANT The campaign for a GCSE in Natural History has stalled. Labour see it as a "Conservative initiative" and won't progress it. It is not a political football, every child has the right to learn about the wonder of the natural world. Plse ask you MP to lobby for it now. 🙏
Why is the world afraid of long grass/meadows? For those adopting a #NoMowSummer, I applaud you👏 You are setting the standard & 100% helping your local wildlife. Since we are no longer in May, I’m conscious the mowers are being dusted off, so I’d just like to say #JuneIsTooSoon
Please don’t mow or spray the dandelions. They are a lifeline for pollinators including bees, butterflies, hoverflies. They support over 50 insect species. Our little film shows the life in a small patch 🐝

Wolf conference gathering steam. Speakers getting ready to fly in to advise on life in wolf land. Calls will be played from the ridge where the flint knappers listened to their sonatas by moonlight. Poems will be read in the dark.
@GPCbirding These drive me insane. I can’t believe they are still acceptable. Where do people think they end up when they release them into the sky? Total idiocy
Instead of allowing the use of bee-killing pesticides, we would like to see @GovUK support farmers who are working towards transitioning away from the use of harmful chemicals.

Flooding again. Chaos, damage and hard work again. We need more trees, more beavers, more protection of peatland and rivers, and more carbon reduction (Climate baiters, pls don’t bother - v busy woman).
A single beaver pond holds an estimated 1.1 million gallons of water and recharges underlying aquifers with an even greater amount of water.
Upon European arrival to North America, as many as 65 million beaver dams strung together waterways and hydrated landscapes.
